Content Writer and Editor
Location: Gurgaon
Job Description
- Serve as the English-language expert on complex and challenging industry research/consulting assignments
- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Review the reports and add value to reports written by the analyst team through rephrasing, rewriting making sure that the reports comply with GMI Research writing style guide
- Provide constructive feedbacks/suggestions for improving analysts writing styles and grammatical consistency
- Ensure the highest quality and timely delivery for all projects assigned
- Assist with additional editorial-related projects, as needed
- Understand the nature of requests and execute language quality assurance across a range of deliverables industry reports, company reports, press release, white papers, business development support, etc.
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on social media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Update website content as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 Year Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelors or Master Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
