• • In Feb 2024, VA Tech Wabag has secured a $33.5 million contract from SEPCO III Electric Power Construction Corporation for the engineering and procurement of a 20 MLD industrial wastewater treatment plant at Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura refinery in Saudi Arabia. The facility will utilize biological treatment, filtration, and reverse osmosis technologies to enable partial water reuse within the refinery. The project, developed by Miahona, is expected to be completed within 20 months.
  • In Feb  2024, Nama Chemicals Co. announced that its subsidiary, Jubail Chemical Industries Co. (JANA), terminated wastewater treatment contracts with a consortium comprising Green Dimension Co. and Confident Engineering International Co. due to significant contractual breaches and failure to implement the projects. The contracts, originally valued at SAR 56.54 million, covered wastewater treatment facilities for chloride and epoxy resin plants aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
